Why Accessibility + AI Search?
We’re a Minneapolis-based digital marketing agency that specializes in two things most agencies treat as afterthoughts: web accessibility compliance and AI-powered search optimization.
We built our practice around B2B manufacturers and mission-driven organizations because we know those worlds. We speak the language, understand the sales cycle, and know that buy decisions don’t happen overnight.
Our clients don’t have time for vague strategy decks or vanity metrics. They need more qualified leads, less legal exposure, and a website that actually works for their customers — including the ones using assistive technology.
Most manufacturers come to us for one or the other.
They either have a compliance concern, an ADA lawsuit, a supplier diversity audit, a customer complaint, or they’ve noticed their website isn’t showing up in search anymore and they’ve heard something about AI changing the rules.

AJ Niehaus
CEO, Director of Operations
AJ has been running SANscript longer than most agencies have existed. The company was founded in 2000, and she’s been at the helm since 2010. She didn’t come to accessibility from a textbook. She’s been navigating low vision since she was 10, which means she understands firsthand what it feels like when a website doesn’t work for you.
Before refocusing SANscript on accessibility and search in 2025, AJ built her project management expertise across two other digital agencies. She’s known for keeping complex projects on time and on budget, and for translating data and technical findings into plain language clients can actually act on. SANscript earned 3M Certified Preferred Vendor status under her leadership, which is recognition for client-centered service, quality, and on-time delivery.
AJ is SANscript’s majority owner. The business reflects her standards.
Dan Olson
CRO, Digital Strategist
Dan is a Section 508-certified Trusted Tester, one of a number of practitioners nationally who can perform and certify manual accessibility audits to federal standards. He leads business development, client relationships, accessibility audits, and digital marketing execution for clients. He’s the one doing the work, not just selling it.
He spent six years in agency business development before SANscript, most recently as Director of Business Development. His manufacturing credibility is real: he spent years at Summit 360, a light manufacturing company, where he helped grow revenue from $9M to $27M over seven years. He’s color blind, which means he cares whether a website’s color contrast actually works in practice, not just on a checklist.
Dan is also the person who’ll pick up the phone when you call.

Our advisory network includes production leadership with Fortune 250 experience at companies like Parker Hannifin, and relationships with major manufacturers including 3M clients. SANscript is a majority woman-owned business, which opens supplier diversity opportunities for clients with diversity procurement requirements. We’re based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and we primarily serve manufacturers and organizations in the Twin Cities metro and Upper Midwest, although good work has a way of crossing boundaries.
We’re two experienced people who are very good at a specific set of problems and we’re selective about the clients we take on so we can do the work right, backed by a trusted contractor network when projects require it.
